About me
From a tuba to SwimRunRepeat.
I turned 44, and until recently, I couldn't swim.
My first SwimRun was in December 2025, and somehow, I ended up doing it with a tuba. I was completely hooked. So in January, I finally learned how to freestyle.
Fast forward six months, June 2026, I took on my first ÖTILLÖ world series race in Gothenburg. It was hard, chaotic, full of jellyfish and absolutely brilliant. Now I'm getting ready for ÖTILLÖ Cannes in October 2026.
While looking for other races around the world, I kept running into the same problem: race information was scattered across dozens of websites, with no single place to see what was happening globally. Most of the existing calendars also had a strong European or US focus.
So I started SwimRunRepeat.
The idea is simple: one global, community-driven place to discover SwimRun races — wherever they are in the world.
It's a work in progress, and I'm hoping the SwimRun community can help make it better.
